Since its inception, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation has recognised the need for creating an equitable society which provides opportunities for all genders alike from diverse backgrounds. Under its CSR activities, APF has focused on projects that engage, benefit, and empower women, especially from rural and low-income households and provide them with livelihood opportunities to help them become self-sufficient and financially independent.

Through the collaborations with various NGOs as well as through the APF Women Skill Development Centre, we have been able to impact 5,407 rural women by providing them with training on tailoring, embroidery, handholding small and marginal women farmers thereby helping them expand their skillset and become self-sustainable.
